  : The property is only a 10 minute walk from Saint Marks square and is not far from other attractions, cafes and restaurants.
  : The room was quite small and the building is on a slant. There is no elevator so guests need to carry their bags up the stairs to get to their room.

  : I understand the building is old and full of character but there could be remedial work done to make the rooms better for guests. The bathroom had one tiny shelf and when I placed my electric toothbrush on it, it slid off and crashed onto the floor, luckily it didnt break! There was plenty of room for a longer deeper shelf and a lip/edge could be glued on to stop things falling off. The shower was ok for us but if you are tall and a bit on the heavy side you may struggle or you may not fit in! Im 5ft8 and 62kg, hubby 5ft8 and 70kg. We could just about bend over to pick the soap up when it fell out the tray as it was on the wonk! There was no room to unpack toiletriesThere was no luggage rack in the roomOnly one bedside tableThe bedside lamp had to be flicked every so often to keep the electric running to it! Our head was lower than our feet sleeping, this could be rectified by putting raised feet at the top of the bed frame. Tip.. lie your suitcase down or it may roll across the room in the middle of the night and freak you out!!

  : We were given a room at the hotel on the 3rd floor and it was not stated that there was no elevator. It was quite difficult to take the suitcases up 52 steps. Also, there is air conditioning in the room but there is no remote control, there is a safe box and there was no key. Not being able to use the air conditioner caused us to have the windows open and get up at 6 am because of the noise.

  : The room should be cleaner, I found some ants in the bedsheets.

  : Lovely building and decor however the room itself was quite dirty and shower very hard to access as so small. Beautiful view and good location, good for a 1 night stay. Couldnt have stayed longer.

  : The location was in the heart of venice, the room was spacious, nice decoration and two little balconies over the water canals. The breakfast was ok too
