  : The location
  : The power went out the first night, the washing machine was touchy and when staff was asked to come have a look it took over an hour and I had to go back and get them, but by this time with playing around with it a bunch we got it working. The photos are completely misleading. Some of the apartments may look like this but ours was in the roof of the building and had sloping ceilings to the point where I hit my head getting out of bed multiple times, the hot water was all over the place and could never get the temperature of the shower right. The shower was so small you couldn't properly wash in there and I had to turn the water off to shave and the doors kept coming off their track. The hot water service was directly across from the toilet in a narrow bathroom and my partner and I hit our heads on it getting off the toilet multiple times. There wasn't enough toilet paper for our stay and the power points are all smaller than standard European power plugs except 2 so you have to charge your phone in the kitchen. The couch was in front of the aircon so we had to move it so you could get any benefit from the aircon. The kitchen had no salt, pepper, oil or anything else in the kitchen for cooking and the fridge and freezer weren't very cold and you couldn't stand a bottle of wine up in the fridge at all. Also crazy fees after 7pm check in which are not advised when booking. Overall maybe this is just how Venice is but I feel as though we were misled by the pictures and our apartment did not look like this. Staff were friendly enough but accommodation for the price was underwhelming

  : Great apartment in a great location. We had an apartment for 3, which was really spacious, with a big bathroom, and everything we needed. The bed was more comfortable than I expected it to be, although the frame wasn't attached to the bed stand with the mattress, and was quite creaky/noisy. But placed correctly we didn't touch it when sleeping, so it was absolutely fine. I was told the sofa bed was comfortable too.The location is great, really close to Venezia Santa Lucia station, and easy to find (with the instructions we received).The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We got a map and information about supermarkets and walking distance to St Mark's Square on check-in, which was really helpful. We didn't have a mosquito problem because it was too hot to open any windows, even at night. The aircon was only in the living room, but there's a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and that was surprisingly fine too.There were a couple of power cuts on 2 evenings, and maybe it would have been helpful to have some information on what to do (though we only had to wait

  : Having a flat for ourselves, clean, beautiful, nice location, safe, friendly staff. I loved having a washing machine, it was very useful.
  : Microwave didn’t work, no coffee, more hangers would help as wardrobes are big but only four hangers.

  : We had a brilliant time in Venice staying in this lovely, clean apartment. Very convenient for the bus and train station. The beds were ridiculously comfortable. The sofa beds turned into proper beds for our children. I loved it that we looked out onto a canal. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

  : The location in Canareggio was perfect. I loved that it was away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to plenty of restaurants and shops in less touristy areas.
