  : Although I hadn't realised that I would be staying in their annex, which was a few-minute walk away across a piazza, bridge, through an outdoor restaurant and short alley, the room was very nicely decorated, very comfortable, quiet, and had the best shower equipment I've encountered (would love to have in my own house). So all together, this was actually a unique and charming experience even though I was expecting to stay in the main hotel as I had two times before when Best Western owned it (and they had a more impressive breakfast buffet). But I always enjoy relaxing with a drink on their roof terrace and it couldn't be more convenient to the Giglio vaporetto stop which makes it so easy getting back and forth from the train station.

  : Location is great — easy to Giglio stop, short walks to San Marco, the Accademia, Rialto. Plenty of small less touristy restaurants in the area. Breakast was very good. Fresh fruit much appreciated as were cheese and pastry selections. Shower water pressure great and appreciated. Bed was extremely comfortable and the little roof terrace very pleasant
